Each year more than a million visitors come to the Rotunda
of the National Archives to see our Charters of Freedom.
Although there is no substitute for an actual visit, this
exhibit will allow you to study the documents in greater
detail than is possible for the rotunda visitor.
Re-creation of the colonial Virginia capital. The site
includes a "historical almanack" that includes biographies
of famous figures like Thomas Jefferson as well as those of
some ordinary citizens.
The Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library is part of the
Alamo historical complex in San Antonio, Texas. The Web site list
extensive bibliographies on Texas history.
